ERC Consolidator Grants are designed to support researchers who are consolidating their own independent research team or programme. Grantee (with over 7 and up to 12 years of experience since completion of PhD or equivalent and scientific track record showing great promise) must conduct research and spend at least 50% in a host institution (public or private) located in a EU Member State or Associated Country. Excellent research proposal is the only criterion for selection.

What is funded? Funding per grant: up to EUR 2 million (in some circumstances up to EUR 2.5 million)

Duration : Up to 5 Years
