On Friday, August 3, the Federal University of Goiás received Professor Moacyr Martucci Jr., coordinator of the Institute of Brazil Europe (IBE), for a meeting with the dean of Extension and Culture (PROEC), Anselmo Pessoa Neto, and coordinator of Coordination of International Affairs (IAB), Ofir Bergemann.

 
The purpose of this meeting is to follow up the activities already undertaken by the two institutions together and discuss the communication plan of the IBE, coordinated by the Dean of Extension and Culture of UFG. Besides the university is responsible for communication of the IBE, the Federal University of Goiás also represents the institute in the Midwest, coordinated by Professor Ophir and Professor Anselmo, as deputy coordinator.
 
Brazil Institute for Europe (IBE)
The IBE was established in 2010 with the aim of promoting bilateral cooperation between Brazil and Europe through partnerships between universities of both countries, contributing to the development of higher education and scientific and technological research in Brazil, in areas of mutual interest.
 
The importance of the institute is to contribute nationally, through education, to the faster development of the country. For the UFG, this partnership contributes to the fostering of new partnerships with leading Brazilian universities and European and developing joint projects. (Ascom / UFG)
